Book Your Business is the book we’re writing about how the world’s most effective business books get made. We could sit on the draft for a year, polish it in private, add a foreword, throw a launch party, and hand you something that looks finished.
I’ve built most of my career by showing the work while the work is happening. More people get helped that way. They get the useful idea now, and they also get to see what changes when the idea meets reality. A finished book can tell you what survived. A work in progress can show you why.
So I see no reason to hide this one until the ink has dried. I want to make the current draft of Book Your Business available while the mistakes are still cheap to fix and valuable to watch.
For the next year, we’re running the Book Your Business OS on real businesses and writing down exactly what happens. What works stays. What fails gets crossed out on the page, with the evidence still attached.
